Erica

Office Manager

Erica has been in the dental field since 2005 and joined our practice in 2012 when she moved here from Arizona. She is experienced in all facets of the front office and her leadership experience makes her a valuable part of our team. Erica has a friendly caring personality and we can count on her to go above and beyond for each of our patients. She has implemented an array of wonderful programs to help better serve our patients. She is proud to work alongside such a great team.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling and cheering for the Arizona Cardinals!

Brittany

Treatment Coordinator

Brittany has been in dentistry since 2009 and we were excited to add her to our team in 2013. Brittany assists our patients with their treatment plans, scheduling and any questions they may have about their benefits. It is important to Brittany that all patients receive the best dental care. She enjoys discussing the different financial arrangements our office has to offer so that great dental care can be affordable to all our patients.

Brittany is from Monroe where she lives with her husband and three children. On Brittany’s days off she enjoys traveling to the beach or mountains with her family.

Ashley

Insurance Coordinator

Ashley has been working in the dental front office since 2000 and joined our team in the summer of 2013. She is here to assist our patients with their accounts and insurance needs. She brings her knowledge and skills to maximize our patient’s dental benefits.

Outside of our office, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and daughter Lily. She loves the mountains as well as traveling and listening to good music.

Diane

Patient Care Coordinator

Diane grew up in York County, SC and graduated from Winthrop University. She has been working in dentistry since 2003 and joined our office in February of 2015. Diane’s favorite part of working in the dental field is her interactions with the patients. She enjoys being the first smile you see when you walk into the office and is always eager to answer any questions our patients may have.

Diane lives in Indian Trail with her husband and 2 children. In her free time she enjoys being with her family, going to the beach, and watching sports.

Sarah

Treatment Coordinator

Sarah Nixon has been working in the dental field since 2011. She Enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially making sure patients are well taken care of and seeing them leave with smiles. She enjoys reviewing payment options and insurance benefits with each patients personalized treatment plans.

Sarah is a US Navy brat so growing up she was able to live in multiple cities. Her favorite place to live was in Virginia Beach, VA and still enjoys visiting there on her time off. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, interior designing and reading a good book.

Barbara

Dental Hygienist

Barbara was born and raised in East Brunswick New Jersey. From an early age Barbara new she wanted to be a dental hygienist, or a hair dresser, but luckily she chose to be a dental hygienist. Upon graduating from the Middlesex County College dental hygienist program in 1996, Barbara began her dental career. After working in dental hygiene in New Jersey for eleven years Barbara and her family decided to make a change and moved to Waxhaw. After arriving in Waxhaw she knew that this was her new home, and upon arriving at Cureton Dentistry Barbara knew she had found a home for her career. Barbara truly enjoys providing quality care and comfort to all of her patients.

In her off time, Barbara enjoys gardening, spending time with family and friends and Bunco with the neighborhood ladies.

Brandi

Dental Hygienist

Brandi is originally from Roanoke, VA and has been a hygienist since 2014. She loves taking care of our patients and helping them to achieve an overall healthy smile. Dentistry is in Brandi's blood with two hygienists in the family and a grandfather in the denture fabrication industry. Above all else, Brandi's focus is providing a stress-free experience while striving to educate patients in their dental care. She welcomes any questions from her patients about their treatment.

In her free time, Brandi enjoys hiking, reading, knitting, playing disc golf and traveling with her husband.

Kym

Dental Hygienist

Kym graduated the accredited dental hygiene program at CPCC with an AS in Science in 2008. She joined our team in 2015 and is proud to be able to apply her clinical skills and education towards formulating, providing and completing, in collaboration with the dentist and patient, the best preventative, therapeutic and educational services specific for each patient’s needs.

Kym lives in Waxhaw with her husband Steve and two kids. She loves spending time with her family, doing crafts and working in her garden.

Tricia

Dental Hygienist

Tricia was born and raised in Massachusetts. She and her husband Todd moved to North Carolina in 2002. She was fortunate to be able to stay home with their two children before attending Central Piedmont Community College and obtaining her degree in Dental Hygiene. We were excited to have Tricia join our team in January 2016. Tricia enjoys meeting patients of all ages and helping them achieve their oral health goals. Tricia also enjoys the opportunity to work with all of the best and newest technologies available. She loves getting to know all of our patients and takes a personal interest in their overall oral health.

In her spare time Tricia enjoys listening to live music, watching football, and spending time with her family and friends.

Andrea

Dental Assistant

Andrea has been a dental assistant since 2006 and joined our office in 2009. Her bubbly personality makes her a great asset to our team. Andrea enjoys helping our patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental procedures, and hopes to put each patient at ease if they are anxious about their dental care.

In Andrea’s spare time she love to shop, sing, workout, and most of all spend time with her family and friends.

Ashlyn

Dental Assistant

Ashlyn graduated from Dental assisting school in 2011 and joined our team in February 2012. She enjoys assisting the doctors and taking excellent care of our patients. Ashlyn always maintains a warm and welcoming attitude to help our patient’s feel at ease when they visit our office. Ashlyn loves knowing that she has helped others to perfect their smile and achieve the confidence that comes as a result of a beautiful smile. Ashlyn prides herself in being a team player and is always someone we can rely on to help wherever she is needed.

Ashlyn is free spirited and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially on the lake in the summer.

Sondra

Dental Assistant

Sondra has been working as a dental assistant since 2015 and joined our office in September 2016. Sondra seeks to ensure her patients are comfortable at each appointment so they always have a positive dental experience. She strives to build relationships with her patients and finds their trust very important and rewarding. She truly loves and appreciates the exceptional care and extra amenities we offer to all of our patients!

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a proud mother to a beautiful little girl named Paityn. Some of Sondra's favorite things are country music, shopping, going to the beach and the Carolina Panthers!
